Add Some Reflection to the Cube

Using the picture to the left as a reference click on "Ray Mirror". This turns on ray tracing for the reflections we are going to add. Just below that button click on "Ray Mir: 0.0" and enter 0.6. Then click on one button below (Fresnel: 0.0) and enter 0.5 for the value. These two numbers will add a reflective surface to the selected cube.

Moving to the left to the "Material Tab" make sure the buttons "Col", "Spe", and "Mir" are visible. You may have to click on "Dyn" to make them visible.

Now for each of the buttons ("Col", "Spe", and "Mir") click in the area just to the left of the button which will bring up the color chooser. Select a color for each button. I suggest the strongest color for "Col", leaving the "Spe" (Specular) color alone (it should be mostly white), and for the "Mir" (Mirror Color) color I would select the same color as "Col" only make it much lighter.

When you start to render individual frames in the next steps you can come back to the material tab and experiment with different combinations.
